Role Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will take ownership of the entire design lifecycle, from conceptualization to final delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create seamless and impactful user experiences. Your expertise in both UI and UX design will ensure the delivery of designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Discovery: Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Concept Development: Translate user needs and business goals into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design Excellence: Create intuitive, accessible, and visually stunning user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
- Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to test concepts and communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- User Testing: Plan and execute usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on user feedback.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components for consistency across projects.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers by providing feedback, fostering creativity, and promoting best practices in UI/UX design.
- Innovation: Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to projects and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure) and usability testing platforms.
- UX Methodologies: Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, analytics, and user feedback to refine designs and optimize user journeys.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design aesthetics, typography, and pixel-perfect execution.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for enterprise applications or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of motion design or animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie).
